Willemstad, December 2018 – The Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry joined the mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Colombia from November 25- 29, 2018 with the primary focus on companies within the Dutch Kingdom to do business with Colombian companies.

During the commercial mission, the Chamber President was able to join the focus sector of Water & Logistics, which entailed the programs in Barranquilla and Cartagena. After visiting the coastal area and meeting with several organizations and networks, the focus sectors joined each other in Bogota to meet the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

The Chamber President was able to meet with high officials of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce as well as join the luncheon in meeting the new Colombian President Mr. Ivan Duque. More than 20 Curaçao companies joined the Kingdom delegation, which in total consisted of more than 120 companies.

This program was an initiative of the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) and was quite successful especially for companies that joined the Curaçao mission to Colombia earlier in September. They were able to reconnect with their counterparts and show their interest in the Colombian market personally. More images here >>
