The Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry signs MOU with Panama

The Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an #MOU on March 19, 2019 with sister organization the Chamber of Commerce of Panama. This signing happened during the Kingdom Mission to Panama & Costa Rica (March 17-21, 2019) organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands based in Panama and Costa Rica, lead by Prime Minister Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath.

In addition to mutual cooperation and information exchange on different fronts, the main theme of the signed MOU is: reciprocity. On Curaçao, the Panama companies can count on the facilitation and reception of the Chamber, but vice versa that is also expected from the Panama Chamber of Commerce for the Curaçao entrepreneurs.

Various events are made available to entrepreneurs in #Curaçao, particularly those entrepreneurs interested in international markets (see

#Events of the Chambers will be shared via social media to share business opportunities with #entrepreneurs in both countries.

The MOU has been signed by the President of the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and #Industry Mr. Willem (Billy) Jonckheer and Executive Director of the of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture of Panama Mr. Rafael Zuñiga Brid.

Besides the MOU, different meetings, company visits and matchmakings took place between Curacao and Panama – Costa Rica entities and companies, strengthening the ties and business opportunities between both countries. More images here >>
