Willemstad- in the last Quarter of 2013 Curacao has had two missions to Colombia in which the first delegation was able to present the possibilities that Curacao has to offer for the President and CEO’s of different entities and multinationals during the “Foro de Presidentes” seminars in Bogota, Colombia.

Curacao, headed by the Curacao Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Mr. Willem Jonckheer also participated in the second business mission at the official opening of the “Holland House Colombia” that was opened by the Royal Couple. King Willem- Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the Holland House and officially opened this innovative bilateral chamber of commerce formula.

The Dutch Kingdom is proud to be stepping up its relations with Colombia. The ties between our countries’ governments and businesses are growing closer and closer. Affirmed King Willem-Alexander in his opening speech.

“I’m sure you can imagine how exciting is it for the Netherlands, which is a very low-lying country, to have a Holland House located 2,600 meters above sea level!”
